Historical Encyclopedia of WA

The State's most ambitious historical project has been completed at the University of Western Australia's Centre for Western Australian History. The Historical Encyclopedia of Western Australia is comprehensive, authoritative and lively, covering all periods and aspects of Western Australian history. It should be the first reference point for academic and general historians, students of Western Australian history, journalists, politicians, and general readers.

Western Australia's leading historians and people with a love of history from across the State have contributed to the volume. In total more than five hundred people were involved in writing the Encyclopedia, making it the largest consultative history project ever undertaken in Western Australia.

The encyclopedia is available at all good book shops including the Co-op Bookshop at UWA.
